Spring Break, continued...

Tuesday, March 18

Today we were supposed to go the other of Disney Worlds water parks. We got into our swim wear and headed out the door only to find the weather overcast, cool and drizzly. So - we headed back into the room, changed clothes and went for another day at Hollywood Studios. We had dinner reservations at the Hollywood and Vine Diner... so it just made sense to go back there.

We went to the Indiana Jones stunt show and road several rides. Following dinner we went to Fantasmic which is one of the best fireworks spectaculars at Disney World. We had terrible seats this year - actually we didn't even have seats, we were in the "standing room only" section at the very rear of the 67,000 seater amphitheater. Needless to say, I didn't bother trying to take photos from that angle... but here are a few photos from the Fantasmic show we went to last year (it was exactly the same... just better seats).
To give a brief description - the show is about Mickey's dream. Villain's from several Disney movies are portrayed as taking over his dream of a perfect, magical world. Clips of some of the villains are shown on spraying water (very cool). Towards the end the river of water that flows between the seating area and the stage area turns into a blaze of fire and then Mickey takes over his dream world and water sprays up through the fire and puts out the fire. As you can tell, it is very difficult to describe... one of those "must see" experiences.
