Family Vacation

We arrived home from our vacation just yesterday! We spent the past few days in San Antonio. We enjoyed Six Flags and the River Walk among other things. Unfortunately, the only photos we took were taken on July 4th... due to the 100+ degree heat, none of us desired to carry a camera around.

For the 4th, we attended a spectacular 4th of July festival at Lackland AFB. Not only were the festivities fun and entertaining, but being able to celebrate our countries birthday with the very men and women who protect our country and our freedoms added an unexplainable level of emotion and celebration to the day.

Sorry my blogs are getting few and far between. As the kids get older our summers get absorbed with camps, etc. It is difficult to believe that Austin is now a part of the youth group at church... it pains me to think about it. I'll try to check in more often than I have been!
